You know how sometimes there’s something you’ve always wanted to do, but you just need that little push to actually do it? That’s how I was about my newest online venture. I have always wanted to start a shopping blog. I mean… it makes perfect sense for me.
I shop. Online. All the time.
I guess I just needed that little bit of motivation and the other day I got it. But not in a “yeah girl, you definitely could do this” kinda way, more in a “you’re not finna do that, why are you even wasting my time talking to me about it” kinda way. So of course, I had to do it. Not only to prove it to him but to prove it to myself.
So thanks guy. And no, this is not a dedication to you. I’m not even going to acknowledge you. Unless this fails, then you’ll get all the credit.

Drew at All in the <Head> wrote this post on How To Set an Apple Touch Icon for Any Site. And while I don’t expect any of my readers to add my site to their iPhone homepage, I thought it was a useful tip and wanted to try it out and see how it worked. It’s a really simple process, so if you have a website then you might want to consider doing the same as it helps your icon stand out from the rest.

I really want to give a thanks to my beautiful friend, Angel, for linking me on her site. If you don’t know about her, she owns the premier website for black entertainment on the web, and that link alone has generated beaucoup traffic to this site in just the few days that it has been up.
I will admit that I’m a little bit intimidated now. I’ve never thought of myself as a great writer and I feel that I may have to step my game up a bit. I shall take this on as a personal challenge.
