I am the Best Driver Ever

This, of course, is just my personal opinion. Everyone is entitled to one. The Alabama Department of Public Safety has one, and they kindly let me know about it. Apparently, they don’t think I can drive, and as you all know, their opinion counts.

Hence, today is day 1 of my license suspension.

I’m not letting it bother me though. I rarely go anywhere, anyway. It is a bit of a inconvenience with school, not so much during the day because I can take *gasp* the school bus. But I do have an evening lab that I will need to find a ride to, and I have at least 2 group projects which I will be having to meet my group for outside of regular school hours, I’m sure.

I’ve had a few people tell me I should just drive slowly, but with my luck, and my luck ain’t good, I’ll get pulled over for a broken taillight or some other random phenomenon.

Guess my insurance won’t be going down in December anymore.

    I’m not stressing it. I care, but I don’t care that much. I had a friend who had his license suspended for a year. He didn’t drive at all until the day when he was going to go pay his reinstatement fee, and he got pulled over. That would be my luck, lol.

    Speeding (a lot).
    “Not stopping at a stop sign” – like how I put that in quotes, don’t you.
    DL Violation for not wearing my glasses.
    But mostly just speeding.
    I lost count on the speeding tickets.

    damn girl i feel for you. i kinda have a lead foot myself, luckily i’m good at speed driving. i managed to get myself out of a 75 in a 35mph ticket with some effective driving and an off ramp. right now i’m out in san fran and i don’t have a car. probably the best thing to happen in a while, i do miss it sometimes but i know the walking is a lot better for me.

    I can drive, but my Dad thinks I’m a little heavy on the brakes. Hmmm, maybe that’s why my breaks were nearly giving out on me.

    @Christina – My dad thinks I drive too fast (which apparently I do) since I’ve had to get new tires 3 times.

    @Jenger – I don’t think I could handle a year. Mine is only 2 months.
