Well ladies keep in mind that men do have priorities. There are some women that are just too annoying to be on the phone with, but are somehow cool through texts. Sometimes people find more to say through a text message than to have an awkward telephone convo. Guys have a short tolerance. He may talk to you on the phone for a while but if you start to annoy him, you get nothing but a text. Some women do the same.
On the other hand, he may not see you as his woman, so why waste a phone convo on a side chick? " I'm just sayin'". If he's interested, he'll call you. If he stops, there maybe have discovered something he don't like about you.

I have experienced this, and have to say I was guilty of this back in the "myspace" days lol, but got over it. Still found that others were still not able to come from behind the computer or phone. Maybe its the convenience of it all, a "safety blanket" and your right, it can be easier to plan out words & "actions". Easier to retract them also, the delete button.

Recently, I have meet people who call more than they text, email, tweet or message me. So there are those out there who prefer to hear your voice than to see your words across a screen. Or maybe they didn't add the texting to their plan, who knows. Lol

I like this post. I'm always glad when I date a guy that's not into twitter, FB, myspace, or any other form of social media. He tends to do ALOT more romantic things and plenty of good PHONE conversations. I just can't get with sending drinks over FB...lol.
